I founded Smokin' Joe's BBQ, bringing over 3 decades of experience as a pitmaster. My journey began in the backyard, where I honed my skills before turning my passion into a business. My dedication led me to apprentice under world-renowned pitmaster Myron Mixon and earn a diploma from the prestigious Southern Thunder BBQ Cooking School in Marietta, Georgia.

This foundation in both practical and formal training has allowed me to perfect my craft and bring the best BBQ to Tucson. But it’s not just about the meats—it's about creating a full BBQ experience.
